What you will do

• Set engineering strategy and translate business goals into actionable technical plans for the Protect platform.
• Lead and mentor engineering managers and senior engineers to foster high-performing, autonomous teams.
• Oversee the delivery of complex distributed systems, ensuring a balance between speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Partner with Product, Research, and Security stakeholders to align roadmaps and technical investments.
• Improve architectural standards, observability, and developer productivity across the organization.
• Utilize engineering metrics to drive operational excellence and system resilience.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience with significant people leadership in software or platform environments.
• Proven track record of scaling distributed systems, APIs, or microservices in production SaaS environments.
• Strong technical depth in cloud-native systems and modern practices using AWS or GCP.
• Experience improving execution through organizational design and process discipline.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.

Nice to have

• Background in fraud prevention, voice biometrics, or risk engines.
• Familiarity with data science infrastructure, machine learning, or generative AI.
• Experience leading distributed engineering teams during high-growth phases.
