What you will do
- Set engineering strategy and translate business goals into actionable technical plans for the Protect platform.
- Lead and mentor engineering managers and senior engineers to foster high-performing, autonomous teams.
- Oversee the delivery of complex distributed systems, ensuring a balance between speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Partner with Product, Research, and Security stakeholders to align roadmaps and technical investments.
- Improve architectural standards, observability, and developer productivity across the organization.
- Utilize engineering metrics to drive operational excellence and system resilience.
Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience with significant people leadership in software or platform environments.
- Proven track record of scaling distributed systems, APIs, or microservices in production SaaS environments.
- Strong technical depth in cloud-native systems and modern practices using AWS or GCP.
- Experience improving execution through organizational design and process discipline.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
Nice to have
- Background in fraud prevention, voice biometrics, or risk engines.
- Familiarity with data science infrastructure, machine learning, or generative AI.
- Experience leading distributed engineering teams during high-growth phases.
