What you will do

• Lead a multi-team engineering organization focused on alerting, event management, and autonomous detection.
• Define and execute the technical and organizational strategy for the Detection Platform.
• Drive innovation in AI-powered detection, anomaly identification, and signal generation.
• Scale highly available platform systems processing hundreds of millions of evaluations.
• Develop and mentor engineering managers and technical leaders to foster a culture of rigor.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Applied Science to balance platform investments with user experience.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading engineering organizations building large-scale platforms, infrastructure, or observability products.
• Proven track record of managing engineering managers across multiple teams and domains.
• Deep technical expertise combined with strong product instincts and architectural decision-making.
• Experience with machine learning, AI-enabled products, or large-scale detection systems.
• Effective communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and navigate ambiguity.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in New York, USA.
