What you will do

• Lead process development and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from pilot builds to volume production.
• Sustain manufacturing processes to ensure optimal quality, yield, and throughput.
• Apply SPC, DOE, and FMEA to improve process capability and reduce variation.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across optical, electro-mechanical, and system-level builds.
• Develop manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, control plans, and BOMs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Quality, and Production teams to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or related Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in NPI, process development, or complex system integration.
• Proficiency with DOE, FMEA, SPC, and validation methodologies.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology (US Export Administration Regulations).
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in optics, laser systems, or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with automated test systems and metrology tools.
