Staff Product Marketing Manager (Data Security)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States

Base pay range for the San Francisco Bay Area: $187,700–$275,275 USD per year. Variable compensation and/or equity may also be available.

What you will do

• Develop strategic positioning and messaging for the data security portfolio, including DLP, DSPM, ITM, and data security for AI.
• Own go-to-market strategy and launch planning for new data security capabilities in partnership with product, sales, channel, and demand teams.
• Create solution briefs, web pages, presentations, webinars, demo scripts, blogs, and other customer-facing materials.
• Build sales and partner enablement resources, including playbooks, battlecards, objection handling, discovery questions, competitive guidance, and talk tracks.
• Track market, buyer, and competitive trends across DLP, insider risk, cloud data security, and adjacent data protection categories.
• Represent data security expertise in sales training, customer briefings, field events, analyst conversations, webinars, and executive presentations.

Requirements

• 12+ years of product marketing experience in cybersecurity, data security, DLP, DSPM, insider risk, email security, endpoint security, cloud security, or related enterprise software.
• Strong understanding of data security use cases across DLP, DSPM, ITM, endpoint, email, cloud, SaaS applications, AI tools, data classification, policy management, compliance, and incident response.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, customer-centric messaging for security, risk, compliance, IT, and executive audiences.
• Experience leading go-to-market strategy, product launches, sales enablement, and campaign planning for enterprise security solutions.
• Strong market and competitive analysis skills, including turning insights into positioning, sales guidance, and product feedback.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across executive briefings, analyst conversations, webinars, customer meetings, and industry events.
• Collaborative, analytical, and execution-focused approach with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive measurable business impact.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
