Principal Engineering Manager (IGA/IAM)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for identity governance and administration engagements, including identity models, authoritative sources, account correlation, entitlement catalogs, and governance operating models.
• Act as design authority for connector designs, joiner-mover-leaver workflows, role models, segregation-of-duties rules, and certification campaigns.
• Build and lead an engineering bench across the US and Pune through staffing, mentoring, quality gates, and career development.
• Lead legacy-to-modern IGA migrations, including coexistence, data migration, and cutover sequencing.
• Serve as the senior technical interface for IAM directors, enterprise architects, and CISO organizations while supporting presales, estimation, SOW scoping, RFP/RFI responses, and proofs of concept.
• Own delivery governance and practice IP, including technical risks, dependencies, reusable connectors, reference architectures, and design patterns.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IAM/IGA experience, including 4+ years leading engineering or architecture teams in a professional services, SI, or MSP environment.
• CISSP, CIMP/IDPro, or vendor architect-level certification such as SailPoint Certified Architect, Saviynt L400, or Okta Certified Consultant.
• Hands-on experience with at least two of SailPoint IdentityIQ/Identity Security Cloud, Saviynt EIC, Okta Identity Governance, or Microsoft Entra ID Governance.
• Experience with PAM integrations, ITDR or ISPM, machine and workload identity governance, secrets and service-account lifecycle, and M&A or multi-forest identity consolidation.
• Knowledge of JML automation, RBAC/ABAC, access certifications, segregation of duties, SCIM, SAML, OAuth/OIDC, LDAP, JWT, and enterprise application integrations.
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or the public sector, with client-facing communication at Director and CISO level.

Nice to have

• Experience with CyberArk, Delinea, or BeyondTrust.
• Experience with Workday, SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, Active Directory, Entra ID, ServiceNow, Salesforce, databases, or mainframe/RACF targets.
• Knowledge of SOX ITGC, HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR, NIST 800-53, and ISO 27001.
