Focus on strengthening the Quality Chain Framework (PFMEA, PRD) and eliminating repeat defects to improve customer outcomes.

Location: Hybrid based in Warren, Michigan (required to report to office at least 3 times a week)

What you will do

• Lead identification of systemic quality risks by integrating warranty, field, and manufacturing data.
• Drive enterprise-level root cause analysis and implement robust corrective and preventive actions.
• Define, standardize, and scale Quality Chain Framework processes (PFMEA, PRD, Lessons Learned, GRA).
• Provide technical leadership in Safety Field Investigations (SFI) for manufacturing-controllable issues.
• Influence cross-functional leadership on prioritization and execution of quality initiatives.
• Coach engineering and manufacturing teams on advanced problem-solving and defect prevention.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of Quality Engineering or Manufacturing experience.
• Confirmed high level of understanding of Quality and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 15-20%).
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
• Proven ability to lead complex problem-solving efforts and drive systemic improvements.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Red X, or DFSS.
