Continuous Improvement Lead - Stamping (Manufacturing): Lead the local stamping CI agenda to drive top-quartile performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people with an accent on hands-on stamping operations, data-driven throughput and speed improvements, and coaching teams in CI tools and structured problem-solving. Focus on initiating and executing multi-project CI programs for current production and major program launches while sustaining gains through standard work and lean management systems.

What you will do
- Lead Fairfax Stamping CI activities aligned to safety, quality, throughput, and cost targets.
- Initiate, prioritize, and manage multiple CI projects from problem definition through sustainment.
- Champion implementation of technologies and best practices to improve stamping processes using operational excellence tools, CI workshops, and structured problem-solving (including AI/vision where applicable).
- Develop technical and data-driven solutions to improve performance for current production, new products, and major program launches.
- Provide CI coaching and technical leadership to stamping stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
- Drive tactical and strategic plans for stamping performance improvement and support budget compliance via productivity initiatives and standard work.
Requirements
- Onsite full-time at the Kansas City, Kansas location.

- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing.
- Hands-on expertise in stamping or similar operations, including production planning, plant floor processes, data analysis, and performance metrics (e.g., scrap, OEE, speed attainment).
Nice to have
- Experience leading Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence or problem-solving programs in a stamping plant (e.g., die utilization, press optimization, material flow).
- Working understanding of the stamping Bill of Operations (BoO) and implementing/optimizing labor, equipment, methods, layouts, and work standards.
- Proficiency with advanced data/visualization tools such as Power BI, advanced Excel, and plant MES data.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or OpEx formal training/certification with demonstrated application in high-volume manufacturing.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
