Project Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Salary: $115,000–$130,000 Annually

What you will do

• Maintain and improve the ISO 9001:2015 QMS, including control of procedures, process maps, and work instructions.
• Lead internal and external audits, tracking findings and ensuring effective closure of nonconformances and CAPAs.
• Provide hands-on quality engineering support to production, leading root-cause analysis and implementing permanent corrective actions.
• Develop process control documentation, including control plans, SPC charts, and validation records.
• Manage change control and risk assessments, supporting FMEA, PPAP, and first article validation activities.
• Analyze quality performance metrics (PPM, DPU, first-pass yield) to prioritize and drive continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of quality-related experience, including at least 1 year focused on QMS development and ISO 9001:2015 activities.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and experience implementing an ISO-based QMS.
• Proficiency in root-cause analysis, CAPA management, and statistical quality tools (SPC).
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Buffalo, NY.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.
