What you will do
- Lead program execution for advanced maritime, sensor, and autonomous system programs, coordinating schedules and risk management.
- Oversee system integration, checkout, and troubleshooting for unmanned systems and radar platforms.
- Lead mechanical design and production transition, reviewing CAD models and improving producibility with suppliers.
- Coordinate between engineering, manufacturing, finance, and customer stakeholders to ensure delivery.
- Support proposal activities, including Basis of Estimate (BoE) and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM).
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians while improving organizational execution processes.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Systems, or Software Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in DoD or defense-related hardware/system programs.
- Proven expertise in system integration, I&T, and production support lifecycles.
- Proficiency with mechanical design tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with technical teams and executive audiences.
