What you will do

• Support the Occupational Health program by providing CIH subject-matter expertise and ensuring compliance with industrial hygiene best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve industrial hygiene monitoring plans, oversee sampling activities, and analyze monitoring results.
• Review and approve new chemical requests and ensure the site’s new chemical approval process is followed.
• Advise the Health Services team on medical surveillance programs and provide technical guidance to the Occupational Health team.
• Conduct, review, analyze, and document qualitative and quantitative assessments of chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic hazards.
• Use Cority to maintain workplace segmentation data, document findings, and complete action items; support asbestos, lead, and laser safety activities.

Requirements

• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
• Ability to provide CIH services for 8–16 hours per week, with occasional periods of increased demand.
• Experience reviewing/approving industrial hygiene monitoring plans and interpreting monitoring results.
• Knowledge of occupational health requirements and industrial hygiene best practices, including chemical safety and hazard assessments.
• Experience evaluating PPE change/addition requests and communicating findings to manufacturing teams.
• Familiarity with occupational health equipment maintenance and safety topics including asbestos, lead, and laser safety.
