Production Supervisor (Chemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead chemical operators in safe, efficient production of in-spec products.
• Coordinate training, mentoring, onboarding, and individualized development plans for team members.
• Support manufacturing strategy, shift planning, delegation, plant start-up, shutdown, and continuous operation.
• Monitor production KPIs, identify performance risks, and lead corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
• Build an inclusive team environment, set expectations, provide feedback, and resolve conflicts.
• Drive continuous improvement and communicate complex operational information across the company hierarchy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an AAS degree or higher is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a chemical, mining, or refinery facility.
• Experience in training or leadership, with strong people-development and communication skills.
• Knowledge of hazard recognition and life-critical procedures, including safe work permitting, hot work, confined space entry, line breaks, and working from heights.
• Ability to use or work around forklifts, hoists, and scissor lifts; HMI experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work in a chemical manufacturing environment, climb stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, and wear standard site PPE.

Nice to have

• AAS degree or higher.
• Previous training or leadership experience.
• Experience with HMI programs.
