TL;DR

Business Development Rep (Tech Sales): Leading prospecting efforts and generating new top-of-funnel opportunities for a tech upskilling platform with an accent on cold outreach and lead qualification. Focus on developing account strategies, researching target personas, and mastering the tech sales pipeline.

Location: Hybrid (Westlake/Dallas, TX). On-site work required Tuesday through Thursday; remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

Salary: $57,000 - $95,000 USD

What you will do

  • Lead prospecting via cold outreach on phone, email, and social media to generate new top-of-funnel opportunities.
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop messaging, identify target personas, and craft account strategies.
  • Research target accounts and key players to create targeted lists and outreach campaigns.
  • Qualify leads and transfer sales-ready opportunities to sales representatives via discovery calls.
  • Track and manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce, providing reports and forecasts on activities.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly quotas for qualified appointments and pipeline generation.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work hybridly from the Westlake/Dallas, TX office.
  • High-level communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Resilience, resourcefulness, and the ability to remain positive when overcoming objections.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • A passion for learning and a strong interest in pursuing a career in tech sales.
