Location: New York (Hybrid, 3 days in-office — not remote eligible)

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 base + equity

What you will do

• Translate client and SME input into granular, testable requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Write and own functional design specifications for engineering execution.
• Lead QA and UAT cycles, including test plans, defect triage, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with design to build wireframes and mockups.
• Directly engage with sophisticated financial clients in calls and workshops.
• Drive AI-assisted generation of specifications, documentation, and test cases.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in requirements ownership through to testing.
• Must be based in New York City (Hybrid: 3 days in-office).
• Proficiency with AI workflows for documentation and testing.
• Ability to operate with high ownership under light-touch guidance.
• Experience in financial services or fintech is a plus.

Nice to have

• Exposure to loan markets, credit operations, or institutional financial products.
