Business Analyst (Fintech)

Business Analyst (Fintech): Translating complex business needs into requirements for hirify.global Clearing, LLC with an accent on FCM operations, risk, and compliance. Focus on documenting end-to-end workflows, coordinating UAT, and ensuring regulatory alignment with NFA and CFTC.

Location: Based in Chicago, IL (Hybrid). Not open to remote candidates.

Salary: $140,000–$190,000 USD + 15% annual target bonus.

What you will do

• Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications for FCM operational and technology initiatives.
• Map end-to-end workflows for onboarding, order routing, clearing, settlement, and margin to identify process improvements.
• Maintain policy documentation, control frameworks, and audit-ready records in line with NFA and CFTC requirements.
• Coordinate UAT, defect tracking, and go-live validation for FCM systems in partnership with Engineering and Product.
• Build operational dashboards and KRI reporting to support the Risk Committee and regulatory submissions.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate cross-functional working sessions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, operations, or strategy within financial services (FCM or broker-dealer preferred).
• Working knowledge of futures clearing, settlement, margin, and order management concepts.
• Ability to write clear business requirements, process documentation, and functional specifications.
• Experience supporting technology projects through requirements gathering and UAT.
• Familiarity with NFA and CFTC regulatory frameworks.
• Must be based in Chicago, IL for a hybrid work schedule.
