Salary: $136,600 - $177,050

What you will do

• Manage a team of software engineers, handling hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development.
• Drive delivery, quality, and operational readiness for foundational platform services.
• Translate engineering strategy into actionable plans, priorities, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Security, and SRE to balance near-term delivery with long-term platform health.
• Provide tactical technical guidance, reviewing designs and implementation approaches for maintainability and scalability.
• Maintain engineering hygiene regarding planning, estimation, retrospectives, and technical debt management.

Requirements

• Previous people management experience leading software engineers directly.
• 3–5+ years of experience leading complex engineering initiatives in SaaS, cloud platforms, or distributed systems.
• Technical depth in backend services, APIs, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
• Must be based in the United States and be able to serve in compliance with U.S. export controls.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to align engineering delivery with product priorities and broader platform strategy.
