What you will do

• Lead strategy and roadmap for the shift to AI-accelerated detection and response.
• Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of security and software engineers.
• Drive the development of high-fidelity detections and AI systems for security operations.
• Collaborate with SIRT, CTI, and AI Engineering teams to ensure reliable delivery.
• Define and track program metrics such as model fidelity and detection coverage.
• Evangelize the team's mission to security leadership and internal partner teams.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in New York, NY (Hybrid)
• Experience in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response.
• Technical proficiency in Python and architecture of security AI systems.
• Proven track record of building automation for security workflows and analyst tooling.
• Prior experience at a SaaS or cloud infrastructure company.
• Strong leadership experience with a focus on mentorship and team growth.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping agentic/ML systems to production.
• Ability to translate security research and threat intelligence into AI/ML systems.
• Experience designing safety guardrails for autonomous AI in security domains.
