What you will do

• Manage and mentor the manufacturing engineering team, overseeing both shop floor operations and personnel performance.
• Direct work assignments, scheduling, and monitor work-in-progress to meet production targets.
• Implement lean processes and identify key process improvement projects to minimize waste.
• Develop and deploy effective manufacturing methods based on 3D models for new product launches.
• Establish standard operation times and support the creation of gauging, fixtures, and special tooling.
• Provide technical assistance and support to internal departments and global facilities as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
• Proven experience in manufacturing or process engineering and lean methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of machining practices including 5-axis milling, turning, grinding, and gear cutting.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in resource management and training development.
• BSc or HNC/HND in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred.
• Must be able to work onsite in Wolverhampton, GBR.
