Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States

Salary: $62,900–$116,900 per year, plus possible annual incentives

What you will do

• Lead assigned manufacturing projects by developing plans, coordinating resources, managing costs and schedules, presenting status, and delivering project objectives.
• Facilitate Lean manufacturing improvements using Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, metric deployment, and management system assessments.
• Improve layouts, material flow, line balancing, troubleshooting, and ongoing manufacturing operations in collaboration with operators, supervisors, and planners.
• Lead and support CAPEX projects, including equipment justification, implementation, and startup.
• Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and routing information.
• Develop fixtures, tooling, and process improvements that improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools.
• Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks or AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards, and PLM systems, preferably Enovia.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills; automation equipment experience is preferred.
