What you will do

• Provide premium technical support and drive design-in activity for MPU and discrete AI accelerator (DNPU) products.
• Lead proof of concept, solution design, and demonstrations to secure NXP solution's design-in.
• Analyze customer technical requirements and establish NXP's value proposition relative to the competition.
• Act as the system software architect to ensure the technical team understands the software value proposition.
• Synthesize customer and competitive insights to improve product definitions and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with sales teams, business lines, and partners to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in development engineering or applications support for microprocessor-based embedded systems.
• Minimum 5 years of Field Application Engineering experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Proficiency in C and C++ with a proven record of developing embedded firmware.
• Deep knowledge of ARM Cortex A and Cortex M architectures, RTOS, and embedded Linux (kernel, user-space, and uboot).
• Demonstrated knowledge of SoC hardware interfaces including Ethernet, PCIe, MIPI, LP DDR5, and USB.

Nice to have

• Experience with Edge AI application deployment, specifically Tensorflow Lite and ONNX.
• Hands-on knowledge of graphics and video subsystems and related software drivers.
• Knowledge of Medical, Industrial, or IoT system applications.
