Technical Designer III (Aerospace)

Salary: $81,800 – $114,500 (based on WA/CO ranges)

What you will do

• Build, modify, and maintain complex spacecraft CAD models in Creo Parametric using top-down design principles.
• Develop and manage interface control models and drawings for various spaceflight systems.
• Export CAD representations for system-level analysis and integration.
• Assess configuration designs throughout the lifecycle from concept development to testing and operations.
• Coordinate with architects and discipline leads to ensure seamless integration for the production phase.
• Apply industry drafting standards to maintain engineering data for detail, assembly, and installation drawings.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.
• 5+ years of related experience in aerospace, automotive, or launch vehicle hardware.
• Extensive experience working in ProEngineer/Creo with Windchill familiarity.
• Proven ability to manage large CAD assemblies and associated drawing releases.
• Experience creating fabrication and installation drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with PTC ProPiping, ProCabling, or Routed Systems Designer.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.100, Y14.5, and Y14.41 drafting standards.
• Understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and manufacturing materials.
• Experience with model-based definition and PDM version control databases.
