TL;DR

Business Development Representative (SaaS): Proactively identifying and engaging finance and operations leaders to solve manual ERP reporting challenges with an accent on high-volume outbound prospecting. Focus on building a robust sales pipeline within the Sage, Acumatica, and Microsoft Dynamics ecosystems through strategic research and multi-channel outreach.

Location: Must be based in North America (Canada or the US)

What you will do

  • Execute high-volume outbound campaigns including cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn engagement.
  • Identify and research high-fit accounts within the Sage, Acumatica, and Microsoft Dynamics ecosystems.
  • Conduct discovery calls to uncover prospect pain points related to manual reporting and data entry.
  • Qualify leads using frameworks like BANT or MEDDIC to schedule meetings for Account Executives.
  • Network with ERP partners and consultants to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and activity tracking within HubSpot CRM.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Canada or the US.
  • 1–2 years of experience in an outbound-heavy sales role.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage CFOs and Controllers.
  • Comfortable discussing financial workflows and Excel-based reporting.
  • Resilience and a self-starter mindset for cold outreach.
  • Coachability and a strong desire to improve objection handling skills.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in a SaaS sales environment.
  • Prior experience working within an ERP ecosystem.
