What you will do

• Maintain professional awareness of technical developments in the fire industry and provide updates and briefings as required.
• Guide fire engineering professionals and advise/deliver complex solutions for large construction engineering projects.
• Lead current and future projects, ensuring team financial targets are met and exceeded, and develop relationships with key clients.
• Drive technical excellence and client development in the fire safety discipline.
• Lead discussions with design teams, building control, and fire service stakeholders.
• Supervise and train graduate engineers, and attend industry conferences to network and stay current with trends.

Requirements

• Background in fire engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fire Engineering or a related field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering).
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
• Ability to undertake work independently with initiative and management skills.
• Ability and desire to mentor and manage junior professionals.
