Engineering Manager (Infrastructure)

Location: Must be based in or able to travel to Wormington, Gloucestershire (site-based from late 2026)

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership within the Project Leadership Team to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Act as the contractor’s technical authority, ensuring solutions are safe, compliant, and buildable.
• Coordinate multi-discipline engineering teams including civil, mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
• Manage engineering interfaces with live high-pressure gas assets and mitigate operational risks.
• Oversee subcontract design organizations and vendor packages to ensure full design integration.
• Support commissioning, testing, and final handover documentation to ensure project completion.

Requirements

• Must be fluent in English
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Project Engineer on major capital EPC projects.
• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline and Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
• In-depth understanding of high-pressure process piping, civil/structural elements, and safety systems.
• Must hold a valid driving licence and be willing to travel between UK offices.
• Must be site-based at Wormington Compressor Station during the working week from late 2026.

• Experience within UK high-pressure gas infrastructure.
• Demonstrable experience in heavy engineering or process-based projects in regulated environments.
