TL;DR

Business Development Representative (Proptech): Sourcing and qualifying new business leads for a short-term rental revenue management system with an accent on outbound prospecting and lead conversion. Focus on building a high-performing sales pipeline and executing data-driven outreach strategies to drive product demo growth.

Location: Hybrid (Chicago, Illinois) - 2-3 days per week in the office, 2-3 days remote.

What you will do

  • Source, reach out to, and qualify leads to communicate the company's value proposition.
  • Convert qualified leads into scheduled product demos for the Account Executive team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to share and implement sales best practices.
  • Achieve quotas based on qualified leads and outbound activity.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to apply effective outbound prospecting strategies and techniques.
  • Confidence in conducting outbound calls and conversing smoothly with prospects.
  • Demonstrated history of resilience, curiosity, and a solutions-oriented mentality.
  • Track record of overachieving against defined performance metrics.
  • Data-oriented approach with an aptitude for handling large data sets.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the Chicago, Illinois office.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Salesforce and Sales Automation/Engagement platforms.
  • Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS).
  • Knowledge of the vacation rental market.
