What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate diverse commercial agreements including licenses, EULAs, and vendor contracts.
• Provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice to production and leadership teams.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks related to IP, data privacy, and labour regulations.
• Review game content and marketing materials for copyright and trademark compliance.
• Monitor legal developments within the digital and online entertainment landscape.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery and innovation.

Requirements

• Member in good standing with the Quebec Bar
• Minimum 6 years of relevant legal experience
• Expertise in digital law, intellectual property, business law, or labour law
• Strong ability to simplify complex legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, matrix environment

Nice to have

• Experience in the video game, entertainment, or digital industries
• Knowledge of Canadian common law
• Familiarity with tech or creative work environments
