Salary: $140,000–$160,000 USD

What you will do

• Provide legal advice on global privacy, data protection, and information security laws.
• Draft and negotiate privacy and security terms in commercial agreements.
• Support compliance programs including impact assessments, audits, and data subject requests.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and InfoSec teams to ensure privacy requirements align with business objectives.
• Monitor evolving privacy regulations and advise on their impact.
• Provide legal support during incident response activities.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of legal experience in privacy and data protection.
• Must be a member in good standing with an applicable bar (Canada, US, or UK).
• Must be based in Canada or the UK.
• Experience with EU/UK GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, and COPPA.
• Proven experience negotiating data processing agreements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
