Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Salary: $162,000 - $195,000 CAD

What you will do

• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts (supply, service, finance, warranty) with customers and suppliers.
• Provide legal counsel to Sales, Procurement, Project Management, and HR teams on diverse legal issues.
• Manage non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and maintain corporate compliance documentation.
• Handle insurance claims, coverage analysis, and coordinate with external litigation counsel for dispute resolution.
• Oversee corporate governance, government registrations, and the preparation of corporate resolutions.

Requirements

• Law degree (Juris Doctor) from an accredited Canadian law school.
• Current law license in Quebec.
• 4-8 years of experience in international business law (law firm or in-house).
• Fluency in English and French is mandatory.
• Must be able to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Spanish and/or German.
• Experience with transport and shipping contracts (bills of lading, etc.).
• Knowledge of risk management and employment law.
