What you will do

• Manage daily manufacturing operations and respond to production plans.
• Lead and develop teams of employees to ensure operational excellence.
• Drive accountability through people and processes, including handling performance management.
• Oversee quality assurance, inspection, and problem-solving initiatives.
• Apply Global Manufacturing Systems to maintain safety, quality, and cost standards.
• Navigate fast-paced environments with competing priorities and ambiguity.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be willing to work weekends and rotating shifts.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Must be able to work onsite in Lansing, Michigan.
• Minimum one year of direct supervisory experience or 5 months as an internal GM per diem group leader.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience supervising in a union environment.
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement (CIP) knowledge.
• Supply Chain or Quality assurance experience.
• Red X or DFSS Certification.
