TL;DR

Senior Technical Account Manager (E-Commerce): Strategic and technical point of contact for enterprise SaaS customers, aligning business goals with platform capabilities with an accent on composable commerce and API integrations. Focus on driving product adoption, managing technical escalations, and influencing the internal platform roadmap.

Location: Hamburg, Germany. Help with relocation and VISA process is provided.

Compensation: €85,000 – €120,000 yearly

What you will do

  • Manage technical relationships for a portfolio of 5-10 enterprise E-Commerce SaaS customers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for platform usage, integration best practices, and architectural decisions.
  • Translate complex customer requirements into actionable feature requests to influence the product roadmap.
  • Coordinate technical escalations with solution engineering, support, and product teams.
  • Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), integration reviews, and roadmap alignment workshops.
  • Monitor account health, usage, and KPIs to recommend platform improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise ecommerce, SaaS platforms, or digital consulting.
  • Proven track record in technical customer-facing roles (TAM, Solution Architect, or Senior Consultant).
  • Deep knowledge of ecommerce architectures, including Storefronts, APIs, OMS, PIM, and CMS.
  • Familiarity with MACH principles (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless).
  • Ability to work with REST, GraphQL, webhooks, and interpret complex architecture diagrams.
  • English: C1+ (Company language)

Nice to have

  • Experience with ecommerce platform migrations or replatforming projects.
  • Background in pre-sales engineering or post-sales consulting.
  • Knowledge of platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, CommerceTools, SAP Commerce Cloud, or Shopify Plus.
  • Fluency in German.
