What you will do

• Ensure stable and efficient operation of Die Bond and Wire Bond manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor and improve equipment uptime, OEE, yield, and product quality.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and implement process improvements.
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and material qualifications.
• Develop and optimize bonding parameters to enhance process capability and robustness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in semiconductor backend manufacturing, specifically in Die Bond or Wire Bond processes.
• Hands-on experience with equipment setup, calibration, and process optimization.
• Proficiency in structured problem-solving tools such as DOE, FMEA, SPC, or 8D.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with manufacturing data.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Seremban, Malaysia.

Nice to have

• Experience in Reel-to-Reel (R2R) assembly processes.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Spotfire, SQL, or Python.
• Exposure to automotive or high-reliability semiconductor products.
• Experience implementing digital manufacturing controls or Industry 4.0 initiatives.
