TL;DR

Finance Manager (Ecommerce): Leading the Trading and Returns area within Commercial Finance with an accent on financial modelling, trading performance analysis, and returns economics. Focus on driving topline growth and profitability through forward-looking commercial insights and strategic financial planning.

Location: Hybrid (must spend at least 3 days a week in the London office)

What you will do

  • Lead the Trading and Returns area, managing financial performance and creating measurable KPIs.
  • Partner with Director and Exec-level stakeholders to shape commercial strategy and long-term financial plans.
  • Own commercial trading performance and deliver forward-looking insights and storytelling for Month End.
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and planning cycles for trading functions.
  • Manage and develop a team of two high-performing commercial finance analysts.
  • Drive process automation and leverage AI tools and generative AI to improve business growth.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Significant post-qualified experience in senior commercial finance roles within dynamic retail or ecommerce environments.
  • Proven track record of influencing and partnering with senior leaders at the Director/Exec level.
  • Advanced skills in financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical storytelling.
  • Experience leading and developing finance teams.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
