TL;DR

Finance Business Partner (Ecommerce): Driving commercial growth and financial decision-making for a membership platform with an accent on FP&A and revenue stream optimization. Focus on analyzing customer lifetime value, conducting cohort analysis, and partnering with Growth, Marketing, and Product teams to unlock scalability.

Location: Hybrid (UK: Leicestershire or London). Not able to offer fully remote working.

What you will do

  • Lead finance for cross-functional groups, advising stakeholders on the value of commercial initiatives.
  • Identify P&L opportunities through deep-dives into performance data to guide business course-correction.
  • Analyze customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value (LTV) using cohort and full funnel analytics.
  • Develop commercial narratives and present financial performance insights to senior leadership.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles in close partnership with senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct variance analysis and long-term financial modeling to support executive decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in FP&A or commercial finance.
  • Background in D2C or B2C businesses, specifically in ecommerce, marketplace, or tech.
  • Strong data modeling skills focusing on LTV, churn, retention, and marketing measurement.
  • Advanced Excel skills (modeling, automation, macros) and familiarity with SQL.
  • Recognized accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA) or currently working towards one.
  • Must be based in the UK to support the hybrid office model.

  • Experience with Datarails.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency.
