What you will do
- Develop and execute comprehensive market access strategies for lead assets with a focus on rare and genetic diseases.
- Lead pricing, reimbursement, and contracting negotiations with payers, CMS, GPOs, and PBMs.
- Oversee trade and distribution strategy, managing relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and pharmacies.
- Collaborate with HEOR, Commercial, and Medical Affairs to shape value propositions and real-world evidence strategies.
- Build and lead a high-performing access organization, including managing National Account Directors.
- Serve as the senior external voice for market access, building trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
- 15+ years of market access experience in pharmaceutical or biotech, specifically in rare disease.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States.
- Deep expertise in the payer landscape, reimbursement processes, and pricing strategy.
- Substantial experience shaping HEOR and real-world evidence strategies.
- Proven history of negotiating and managing contracts with payers and external partners.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.
