Assistant Site Manager (Wind Energy)

What you will do

• Support everyday activities at wind farms during the erection and commissioning phases.
• Coordinate the mobilization of heavy equipment including cranes and transportation.
• Organize and track quality control and transportation documentation.
• Interface with customers and contractors throughout the wind farm construction process.
• Operate the wind farm independently when the Site Manager is on rotation or leave.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Preferably 3 years of mechanical/construction experience, ideally in wind farms.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment physical.
• English: Fluent proficiency required for safety communication and collaboration.
• Ability to spend 100% of time onsite during project phases with 80-90% travel.
• Commitment to maintaining OSHA and ANSI safety standards.

Nice to have

• Wind Turbine Assembly (WTG) on-site experience.
• Experience in quality management and quality control processes.
