What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers through the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction estimating to closeout.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Project Management, Supply Chain, and Construction to ensure project objectives are met.
• Oversee the delivery of economical and safe engineering designs that comply with all federal and state regulations.
• Set team goals, monitor performance metrics, and foster a culture of operational excellence and accountability.
• Provide technical review and vetting for new equipment, materials, and innovative construction methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or PMP certification required (or must be obtained within one year of hire).
• 7+ years of progressive engineering experience in the energy or construction industry.
• Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to travel 25-50% of the time based on project needs.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of utility-scale high-voltage systems including substations, transmission lines, and switchyards.
• Experience in engineering scope development and constructability reviews for wind energy projects.
