Salary: $100,000–$170,000 USD

What you will do

• Implement and maintain site-specific EHS programs, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
• Lead incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
• Manage contractor safety oversight and ensure alignment with colocation facility rules.
• Conduct routine inspections, audits, and workplace risk assessments.
• Coordinate emergency response activities and maintain site readiness for medical or fire scenarios.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in data centers, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS management systems.
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Madison, NC area.
• Proven experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently as the primary EHS resource on-site.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CSP, ASP, CHMM, or CIH.
• Experience working specifically within a colocation data center environment.
• Proficiency with EHS software platforms and compliance management systems.
