What you will do

• Lead EHS programs supporting hardware engineering, R&D, and technical operations across multiple sites.
• Conduct exposure and hazard assessments for chemical, physical, and operational risks.
• Develop and scale SOPs and safety standards for technical workflows and high-risk operations.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed safety-by-design principles into equipment and workspaces.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/Cal-OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, and related safety standards.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations and develop corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of EHS experience in engineering, R&D, or complex technical environments.
• Strong expertise in industrial hygiene principles and exposure assessment.
• Technical fluency in mechanical systems, electrical hazards, and chemical risks.
• Working knowledge of OSHA/Cal-OSHA, NFPA, and ANSI regulatory frameworks.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area.

• Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, CIH, or CHMM.
