What you will do

• Lead the implementation of EHS programs and procedures for manufacturing, laboratory, and facilities operations.
• Conduct safety inspections, incident investigations, and manage CAPA tracking.
• Manage CalOSHA inspection readiness and environmental reporting obligations, including CERS and HMBP.
• Coordinate EHS training, communications, and lead site safety committees.
• Organize EHS metrics and reports, and conduct emergency preparedness drills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant EHS experience within pharma, biotech, or lab environments.
• Strong knowledge of CalOSHA regulations, EPA, and California environmental laws.
• Experience with risk assessment, incident investigation, and CAPA processes.
• Must be based in San Diego for full-time, in-person presence.

• CSP, CIH, or biosafety-related certifications.
