What you will do

• Implement and maintain project-specific safety, health, and substance abuse programs.
• Conduct detailed site safety inspections and lead incident or injury investigations.
• Manage project security contracts and ensure compliance with safety documentation.
• Develop and conduct employee safety training programs.
• Interface with clients and government officials regarding safety standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior safety and health staff.

Requirements

• 5+ years of safety and health experience.
• Ability to travel 70%+ within the US.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
• Ability to perform physical labor in varying temperature extremes and construction environments.
• Proficiency in report writing and office software.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• BCSP or CHST certification.
• 3+ years of experience in a construction environment.
• OSHA 500/501 certification.
