TL;DR

Senior Director, Commercial Evaluation and Strategy (Biotech): Leading the commercial evaluation and strategic positioning of high-impact external business development opportunities with an accent on Respiratory and I&I therapeutic areas. Focus on driving end-to-end commercial diligence, forecasting, and providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership to inform enterprise-level decision making.

Location: Must be based in the U.S. (Fully remote with occasional domestic travel).

Salary: $222,000–$303,000 Annual

What you will do

  • Lead integrated commercial strategies and business cases for acquisitions, licensing, and partnerships.
  • Drive end-to-end commercial evaluation and diligence processes to provide actionable recommendations for executive committees.
  • Shape asset positioning, differentiation strategies, and long-term value creation in high unmet need markets.
  • Develop and evolve frameworks for commercial diligence, including forecasting methodologies and risk-adjusted valuation.
  • Lead primary and secondary market research to generate differentiated insights.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members within a high-performing BD organization.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (MBA preferred) with 8+ years of experience or PhD with 6+ years of experience in Biology, Immunology, or related discipline.
  • 7+ years of business experience in Pharma/Biotech with a track record in business development or commercial strategy.
  • Deep expertise in commercial evaluation, forecasting, pricing, and market access strategy.
  • Proven ability to act as a commercial functional lead in complex, cross-functional diligence efforts.
  • Advanced understanding of Respiratory and/or Inflammation & Immunology disease areas.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
