What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert on manufacturing processes and systems for space hardware.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure hardware producibility.
• Analyze production flows and develop assembly and integration methods, tools, and fixtures.
• Participate in engineering design reviews to provide feedback for manufacturing optimization.
• Identify and mitigate production risks prior to flight model manufacturing.
• Support business development by contributing to manufacturing plans, estimates, and quotations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Science, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAD software for drawing review and tooling design.
• Experience with manufacturing systems including ERP, MES, PLM, and QMS.
• Strong understanding of DFM, DFA, FMEA, and PFMEA processes.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity.

Nice to have

• Experience working in clean room environments.
• Background in space, aerospace, or highly regulated industries.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machining or additive manufacturing.
• Familiarity with RF hardware or RF test equipment.
