What you will do

• Design and develop subsystem testbeds and large-scale industrial equipment.
• Manage complex requirements including vacuum sealing, high-voltage isolation, and high-temperature (1,500 °C) environments.
• Perform CFD simulations for fluid flow and heat transfer analysis.
• Lead hands-on prototyping, including working directly with suppliers and machine shops.
• Assemble and test components in the lab to ensure reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of professional work experience.
• Demonstrated practical knowledge of fabrication, assembly, tolerancing, and materials selection.
• Experience with simulation tools for fluid flow, heat transfer, and structures.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
