TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Springfield, IL: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Salary: $76,600 - $106,450

What you will do

  • Serve as a Tier 2 escalation point for complex employee relations, policy interpretation, and sensitive HR matters.
  • Conduct thorough workplace investigations, fact-gathering, and case management documentation.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees to resolve issues and implement HR best practices.
  • Manage leave of absence, disability, and protected leave processes.
  • Support performance management, corrective actions, and separations.
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and support business recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience (5 years preferred).
  • Direct experience managing employee relations, including leaves of absence and accommodations.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Must be able to work from the Springfield, IL office according to the hybrid schedule.
