What you will do

• Lead and mentor a diverse engineering team to deliver high-quality, performant features for the hirify.global Elements product.
• Collaborate with product management and design to define and execute the technology roadmap.
• Guide the team in solving complex technical challenges and maintaining high standards for code quality and maintainability.
• Advocate for improvements in product security, performance, and developer workflows.
• Foster a transparent, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
• Balance hands-on technical contributions with strategic leadership and delegation.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading engineering teams in fast-paced, global environments.
• Strong technical background in cloud-native environments, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Extensive experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Proficiency in architectural documentation and design patterns.
• Must be based in London, UK to support the hybrid working model.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor and grow team members.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Rust, Dart, or Go.
• Experience building developer tools such as CLIs and SDKs.
