What you will do

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of platform and infrastructure engineers.
  • Define and execute a vision for platform services as products, including requirement gathering and roadmap development.
  • Guide architectural decisions and scalability strategies for internal platforms.
  • Partner with SRE leadership to align platform reliability with SLOs and error budgets.
  • Implement processes to reduce operational toil and lead incident management efforts.
  • Manage concurrent projects to ensure timely delivery of high-impact platform capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years in platform engineering or DevOps with increasing responsibility.
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code, specifically Terraform.
  • Strong product management skills for internal tools and services.
  • Must be based in the United States.
