What you will do

  • Conduct industry research to identify software businesses meeting investment criteria.
  • Engage with business owners and senior executives to discuss potential acquisitions.
  • Develop and grow a deal pipeline through outbound sales, trade shows, and broker networks.
  • Maintain deal funnel and prospect information in the Salesforce CRM.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding new acquisition prospects.
  • Guide target business owners through the initial stages of the sales process.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Germany
  • 2+ years of experience in sales or business development.
  • Demonstrated success in cold calling and prospecting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan work schedules and monitor personal performance goals.
  • Professionalism in managing sensitive information and relationships.

Nice to have

  • Degree in business administration or related field.
  • Prior experience in the software industry.
  • Understanding of accounting principles.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
