What you will do
- Conduct industry research to identify software businesses meeting investment criteria.
- Engage with business owners and senior executives to discuss potential acquisitions.
- Develop and grow a deal pipeline through outbound sales, trade shows, and broker networks.
- Maintain deal funnel and prospect information in the Salesforce CRM.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding new acquisition prospects.
- Guide target business owners through the initial stages of the sales process.
Requirements
- Must be based in Germany
- 2+ years of experience in sales or business development.
- Demonstrated success in cold calling and prospecting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to plan work schedules and monitor personal performance goals.
- Professionalism in managing sensitive information and relationships.
Nice to have
- Degree in business administration or related field.
- Prior experience in the software industry.
- Understanding of accounting principles.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
