Location: Primarily based in Paris or London. Remote candidates must be based in France, UK, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, or Italy and must visit the Paris office for onboarding and at least 3 days per month.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend features and APIs using modern frameworks.
• Build and maintain systems for authentication, billing, AI tooling, and observability.
• Implement secure and scalable architectures to support fast-growing products.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Work cross-functionally with PMs, frontend, and AI engineers to deliver end-to-end features.
• Solve complex engineering challenges related to distributed systems and AI integration.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, or Rust.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, caching, and distributed architectures.
• Experience with cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure) or bare-metal infrastructure.
• Must be based in or open to relocating to Europe (specifically France, UK, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, or Italy).

Nice to have

• Frontend experience (TypeScript, React, NextJS).
• Infrastructure management (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm).
• Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
