TL;DR
Technical Lead (Python/Azure): Leading development teams and collaborating directly with clients to build AI-enabled digital solutions with an accent on architectural design, scalability, and cloud-native infrastructure. Focus on translating complex business requirements into high-performance applications, mentoring engineers, and driving technical excellence across distributed teams.
Location: Must be based in the UK and authorised to work without sponsorship. This role requires travel to client sites.
Salary: Up to £120,000 + Bonus & Benefits

What you will do
- Provide technical and line-management leadership to development teams.
- Take responsibility for the successful delivery of complex projects.
- Shape and define architectural decisions ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Work directly with clients to translate business requirements into technical briefs.
- Identify and resolve project blockers proactively.
- Ensure best practices in software development, DevOps, and agile methodologies are upheld.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK and authorised to work without sponsorship.
- Professional experience in Python.
- Experience with AI application development and Agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph).
- Proven experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Strong CI/CD experience with Terraform, Helm, and cloud-native IaC.
- Deep understanding of observability practices using OpenTelemetry.
- 2+ years of experience leading projects and mentoring as a Technical Lead.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
- Deep understanding of operational concerns like GDPR, accessibility, and performance testing.
