What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend infrastructure focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Design data models and persistence layers using PostgreSQL best practices, including schema design and query performance.
• Build enterprise-grade APIs with FastAPI, incorporating versioning, authentication, and observability.
• Manage deployments and environments using Kubernetes and GitOps practices with ArgoCD.
• Conduct code reviews and engage in pair programming to maintain high code quality.
• Contribute to end-to-end product delivery, including occasional frontend feature development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Python developer shipping production systems.
• Strong experience building scalable and extensible data infrastructure.
• Deep familiarity with PostgreSQL performance tuning, migrations, and transactions.
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise-grade APIs with FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience running production workloads on Kubernetes and using ArgoCD.
• Proficiency in cloud environments (GCP or AWS) and GitHub Actions.

Nice to have

• Ability to contribute to frontend work using React/TypeScript.
• Experience with Golang for contributing to the orchestration stack.
