What you will do

• Own and advocate for the health and quality of search systems, participating in on-call and first responder rotations.
• Drive the application of automation within production and deployment to improve development velocity and quality.
• Design and implement APIs to facilitate seamless integration between software components at planetary scale.
• Write architecture briefs and build prototypes to solve complex scalability challenges.
• Utilize CI/CD tools to set up and maintain automated pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
• Analyze system metrics and data to refine product performance and ensure high security, privacy, and safety.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience maintaining and delivering production software in languages such as Go, Rust, Python, Java, or C++.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
